Leslie is not only a talented Art Director but also the sweetest person you could ever meet. I had the pleasure to capture her portraits for her brand spanking new website coming soon.

Love: Ricky & Christian
When Ricky & Christian told me they wanted their photos taken at one of the most beautiful parking garages in the world, I was all about it. I had so much fun playing with the light and structure of the building. Working with them was also a breeze; they’re adorable together and so stylish! Perfect combo in my book.
Luna & Paleta
We rescued our new dog Paletica 3 weeks ago and I honestly can’t imagine our lives without her. She has brought so much joy to us, especially for Luna. I love seeing her so happy playing and taking care of Paletica. I tested my new Mamiya 645 film camera with some shots of them and though I’ve developed the film, I’m still waiting to scan and print them. So in the meantime, enjoy these digital shots.
Field Trip to the Deering Estate
I volunteered to go on Luna’s field trip to the Deering Estate. I hung out with a bunch of third graders and we learned about Mangrove trees and critters, it was fun but exhausting! I now have a deeper appreciation for Teachers, I really don’t know how they handle that much energy every day. A few hours was enough. 🙂
Mini Spring Break in Key West
Luna didn’t have much fun things to-do during her spring break so we decided to take a spontaneous road trip to Key West. Every time we go out of town I like to bring my film camera with me. I take way too many photos using my digital one and I want to avoid the extra time it takes me to go through the photos. I shot 2 rolls with my 35mm film camera but one of them got damaged… sadness. Good thing Jorge has a bunch of digital ones that we haven’t sorted out yet, lol (see?!) These are from our first day there.
Portraits: Celia-Part 1
This is my momma 🙂 “When are you going to take portraits of me?” She asked, so I did. She loves coffee so we went for a quick coffee run in downtown Miami, I knew it was going to rain but and I wanted that kind of moody set up. I did promise her a second shoot on the beach, she already has her outfits picked out. She is the cutest.
Portraits: Parker Family
The Parker family is growing and wanted to capture this special stage in their lives. It was a pleasure getting to know them, I loved all the big smiles I got from them.
Portraits: Casey
Casey has been nominated for Woman of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and needed professional portraits taken. I love taking portraits but it’s even more special when you do it for a smart, empowering, kind-hearted woman. Read how you can help her win here.
52 Weeks of Celia & Luna: Week 6
I’m so behind with this project, life got in the way. I was beating myself about it but came to the conclusion that this personal project has to be fun and not stressful. I will only do it when I’m excited about it and it feels genuine. Luna was on spring break last week, we went on a mini vacation to key west but the rest of the time we spent it cuddling. This cuddling session involved one of our favorite books called: An Awesome Book and our beloved cat, Musa.
Portraits: Ana
Ana has been playing the piano for over 20 years. Besides being amazingly talented, she is also stunning! I was given a pretty lady, a gorgeous view and one of the best pianos in the world to work with; can’t complain.
